PARADISE SEASON 2

This season confidently stands on its own as a post‑apocalyptic drama. The reveal that its characters are living inside a meticulously designed underground bunker in Colorado reframes the story in a way that’s unsettling and compelling. Sterling K. Brown remains excellent as Xavier Collins, with his journey beyond the bunker and into a broken world providing the central story. Flashbacks add depth, particularly through Annie’s story (Shailene Woodley), with Memphis and Graceland serving as a distinctive and fitting survival setting that grounds her friendship with Teri (Enuka Okuma). Julianne Nicholson’s Sinatra continues to bring tension to the bunkers power dynamics, even as the layered mysteries occasionally feel dense. The soundtrack is a standout, using nostalgic music from different decades, including early 90’s tracks and stripped back acoustic closers to add intrigue and emotion.
